Hello! My name is Morgan Hewitt and I have the pleasure of directing Junior Camp at Blue Water Camp this year! I am 27 years young, currently living near Green Bay, Wisconsin. My husband is retired from the US Air Force and together we have two German Shepards, a Red Heeler, and a shorthaired gray cat. I am a treatment coordinator at an amazing dental practice called Otter Creek Dental. I’m the person that has to tell you insurance is terrible. 

When I am not scheduling root canals, I am working on creating a successful Junior Camp. Community of Christ camps played a huge part in my childhood. I have attended Blue Water camps every summer since I was 6 months old. I started with family camps, working my way through the youth camps to eventually spending a whole summer on the grounds going to all four camps. I have helped at Junior Camp since 2014 serving as a CIT, Counselor, Director-in-Training, and now as Co-Director. 

Through my work at camp, I am able to fulfill my passion of giving children a safe and fun experience for one week out of the summer. For me, camps were rejuvenating every year. Going through the school year, my faith, confidence, and joy would waver. As soon as I stepped back on Blue Water grounds, I felt my cup being filled. I want to make that experience for our campers. During registration, I heard names being shouted across the rooms, saw kids run at each other, and felt the joy in seeing their friends for the first time in a year. That is why I do what I do. I hope to see your kiddo at Blue Water’s Junior Camp this summer!
